This live sketch of an owl perched on a branch was created during my 2025 solo exhibition in Ginza.
Using only a single pencil, I completed it in about 30 minutes in front of visitors.

The sketch carefully captures the owl’s calm posture, large round eyes, and the fine texture of its feathers, resulting in a quiet yet striking portrait.

Spontaneous lines unique to live sketching, combined with the paper’s tactile texture, give this piece its distinctive charm—preserving the atmosphere and flow of time from the exhibition itself.
