This is the second live-style sketch of a tiger cub, created on commission.
Using only a single pencil, I completed it in about 30 minutes, capturing its large paws, round body, and innocent, endearing expression.

The tiger’s fur features a mix of white, brown, and black stripes, making it challenging to convey depth and shading with only black and white pencil marks. Subtle textures and careful attention bring out the cub’s softness and natural charm.

Spontaneous lines unique to live sketching, combined with the paper’s tactile texture, give this piece its distinctive character—preserving the immediacy and vitality of each stroke.
