This piece, “Squirrel with a Walnut,” was drawn live during my 2025 solo exhibition in Ginza.
Using only a single pencil, I completed the sketch in about 30 minutes in front of visitors.

With delicate strokes, I captured the gentle gesture of the squirrel holding a walnut, the soft roundness of its cheeks, and the fine texture of its fur.

Though still on paper, the moment feels alive—ready to move at any second.
