Happy New York 1990s Alley

Created for my upcoming solo exhibition this September, this painting is part of my popular Happy New York series, inspired by the vibrant spirit of the 1990s.

Painted on a 50 × 50 cm canvas—slightly smaller than my usual format—the composition places greater emphasis on clarity and structure. The abstract elements are softened, while the boundaries between colors become more defined, allowing the cityscape to emerge clearly and instantly.

A vivid pink accent brings a sense of joy and warmth, transforming New York into a cheerful and inviting scene.

One distinctive aspect of this work is that some of the original sketch lines are intentionally left visible. These raw traces preserve the spontaneity of the process, capturing the energy of the moment and the act of creation itself.
